ClearOrbit Unveils Professional Edition of Barcode, RFID Printing Application

September 24, 2008

ClearOrbit, the vendor of supply-chain execution and reverse logistics software, has created Compliance Label Manager (CLM) Pro, a system for the printing of barcode and radio frequency identification (RFID) labels. The offering helps users quickly to design and print labels that meet internal and customer requirements, the company said. CLM Pro is the professional edition of ClearOrbit's CLM product. Released with online demo and purchase capabilities, the system is available for a 30-day free trial at ClearOrbit's website. Licensed versions are available in user-based and company-wide models. Users can become fully compliant with changing customer and regulatory labeling requirements, while boosting labeling and shipment accuracy, the vendor said. CLM Pro consists of a print server and pre-configured label-design studio. The tool stores the most up-to-date labels where they can be easily accessed by users both inside and outside the organization.

"Since implementing ClearOrbit's solution, our inventory is visible throughout the enterprise, and we can more easily identify products and prioritize them for shipping. This enables us to track the flow of products in and out of our warehouse and reduces the time our warehouse employees spend searching for inventory."
