Take Supply Chain Enhances Supplier Collaboration

December 02, 2009

Take Supply Chain has developed version 5.7d of Xtended Process Control (X.PC). The application streamlines supplier collaboration by linking manufacturers and distributors with supply chain partners worldwide. New features of version 5.7d include Web labels, which enable the printing of package tracking numbers and advance shipping notices without a dedicated label printer. A quick-search toolbar finds and jumps to purchase orders, invoices, shipments or quality documents by displaying a dynamic list of search results. An Engineering Quality Collaboration module manages the workflow of supplier deviation requests and corrective actions. An expanded Accounts Payable module allows suppliers to create credits and invoices, print invoices in PDF format and view invoice holds. In addition, the vendor has enhanced the application’s existing PO and ASN functionality. Formerly known as ClearOrbit, Take Supply Chain sells a variety of supply chain execution software applications. It is a division of Take Solutions.

"Since implementing [TAKE Supply Chain]'s solution, our inventory is visible throughout the enterprise, and we can more easily identify products and prioritize them for shipping. This enables us to track the flow of products in and out of our warehouse and reduces the time our warehouse employees spend searching for inventory."
