TAKE Supply Chain Named a SupplyChainBrain 100 Great Supply Chain Partner

Austin, Texas – July 21, 2009 – TAKE Supply Chain (formerly ClearOrbit), a leading provider of real-time supply chain execution and reverse logistics software solutions, has again earned recognition as a SupplyChainBrain 2009 100 Great Supply Chain Partner. TAKE Supply Chain was selected based on the company's success in improving inventory visibility and track/trace capabilities across supply chain operations for specialty drug manufacturer Three Rivers Pharmaceuticals. With TAKE Supply Chain's Gemini Simplified Interface (G.SI)™ for Oracle™ Process Manufacturing (OPM), Three Rivers improved global distribution efficiency and productivity  (across operations in more than 45 countries worldwide) by more than 50 percent.

"In 2009, we received more than 2,700 nominations from small and large companies covering scores of different industries," states Brad Berger, publisher of SupplyChainBrain. "More than 500 vendors of every conceivable type of supply chain activity were nominated — from very specialized technologies to a wide range of third-party logistics, transportation and consulting services. The 100 companies that received the most qualified nominations are represented on this year's list which is published within the July issue of SupplyChainBrain's magazine and on SupplyChainBrain.com for the remainder of 2009."

SupplyChainBrain's 7th Annual 100 Great Supply Chain Partners Program is the result of a six-month online poll in which supply chain professionals were asked to nominate vendors and service providers whose solutions have made a significant impact on their company's efficiency, customer service and overall supply chain performance. SupplyChainBrain recently changed its name from Global Logistics & Supply Chain Strategies to unify the publisher's identity with that of their website, which many consider one of the most valuable supply chain management information sources on the web today.

"We are pleased to again be recognized as a Great Supply Chain Partner," said Warren Sumner, general manager of TAKE Supply Chain. "Having been selected based on the successes of one of our customers is extremely satisfying and indicative of the relationships we foster across our global customer and partner network. It demonstrates our ongoing commitment to delivering business solutions that drive quantifiable, sustainable results for our customers, who face a highly competitive, demanding environment."
