Guided Picking The Pick Release and Reserve Module will prompt the user for a delivery or trip. It will then select each delivery detail line from the delivery or trip and call the Picking Rules Engine API. The Picking Rules Configurator will return to the Pick Release and Reserve module, the subinventory and locator in which the reservation should be made. If there is partial quantity available in a single subinventory and locator, the delivery detail line is split based on available quantities in different subinventories, and reservation is made for each delivery detail line. If there is no quantity available, the reservations are not made, and the delivery detail line is not pick released. The Pick Release and Reserve Module can also be scheduled to run in the background as a concurrent process.
