ClearOrbit's Compliance Label Manager provides a flexible labeling environment that allows business users to define and manage their own label formats and rules. Users can configure rules to define the content and type of label formats, allowing dynamic selection based on customer, ship-to location, material type and many other criteria. Compliance Label Manager allows dynamic label changes without modifying any code and is fully compatible with ClearOrbit's Gemini Simplified Interface Suite, Oracle WMS and many other supply chain applications.

• Customization without coding
  Compliance Label Manager eliminates the need to customize application code to print different content or label formats. The user defines rules to determine which fields print on a label and which label format is selected.
• Ease of use
  Compliance Label Manager has been designed for business users and not programmers. Separate rules can be defined to select the label format and derive additional data. Users are provided with a web-based graphical interface to manage formats and rules, with minimal training required.
• Dynamic label formats
  Compliance Label Manager can dynamically print different label formats, print multiple copies of the same label or print labels in a serial format (e.g. 1 of 10, 2 of 10, etc.) by configuring label format rules.
• Rules simulator
  Compliance Label Manager lets the user simulate the way the rules will be executed before deploying them in production, ensuring label accuracy and reducing implementation time.
• Dynamic Graphics
  Graphic images can be dynamically placed on bar code labels to reduce errors, eliminate re-labeling and provide improved customer service. For example, a diagram of each item can be included on the label based on item number.
• Pre-configured data objects and rules
  Compliance Label Manager ships with pre-configured label types, data elements and rules. Data elements and rules support transactions in ClearOrbit's Xtended Pro Series.
• RFID Support
  Used in conjunction with ClearOrbit's Connect 5.0 device integration platform, the Compliance Label Manager can create embedded smart tags for customers requiring RFID shipments. For specific customers who require RFID tags, output is directed to an RFID printer. For customers who do not require such tags, output is directed to a standard barcode printer.
• Application independence
  Compliance Label Manager accepts data from any application using a variety of data collector APIs.
• XML support
  Compliance Label Manager supports XML input, providing compatibility with a variety of supply chain execution systems, such as WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and TMS (Transportation Management Systems). The power of the rules engine, XML input and high volume label printing capability in Compliance Label Manager can be fully leveraged to add label compliance within your supply chain execution system.
• Serialization Manager
  Compliance Label Manager can be used to automatically generate and print serial numbers in the exact format required by each customer. Serial rules handle number length, padding, LPNs, date, etc. Serialized ASNs are also supported.
