Simplify Your Shipping Process
For many companies, the lack of integration between Oracle and third-party freight rating/manifesting system represents a process bottleneck that can dramatically reduce shipping efficiency. Basic data for each shipment, such as freight carrier, ship-to address, customer and weight must be manually entered into the manifest system from the ERP. In turn, the resulting tracking number and charge information must be re-keyed back from the manifest system to the ERP. Not only does this slow down your operations, it introduces additional training requirements and the potential for data entry errors with each and every shipment.
ClearOrbit's Manifest Interface Manager eliminates this bottleneck by providing a direct interface between your shipment manifest system and Oracle Applications via our G.SI for Shipping, Receiving, Inventory, and Manufacturing application. With the Manifest Interface Manager, key Oracle data is automatically fed to the manifest system during the ship confirm transaction in our Shipping module. The resulting tracking and charge information is then automatically populated back into Oracle. All fields are displayed on the RF handheld, providing visibility of the information transfer to the shop floor employee.

The Manifest Interface Manager currently supports interfaces to the Kewill Clippership shipping systems. Our open architecture design allows interfaces to additional systems to be quickly added.
